In this edition of Up Close and Personal – a blog series aimed at revealing the fun and quirky side of our talented and experienced MultiConnexions team – we interviewed our newest MCX team member Agatha Wangsanata to get to know her a little better.
1. What is your name (and nickname!), and what do you do at MultiConnexions?
My name is Agatha Christine Wangsanata, usually people call me Aggie and I am a Media Planner in MultiConnexions.
2. What were you doing prior to joining us here at MultiConnexions?
I have worked in the Media Industry for my entire career. I spent the past 15 years on two different continents: Asia and Australia, mostly in Jakarta and Sydney.
3. Describe life at MCX with a gif or meme.
4. Tell us one thing about you that surprises people.
I eat almost everything with rice, sometimes I eat ramen with rice or potato salad with rice. Hehe please don’t judge!
5. If someone were to play you in a movie, who would you want it to be?
Sandra Oh (Grey’s Anatomy cast) because I think we both have an awkward side so it would be easy for her to play me.
6. What’s the best piece of work/ career advice you’ve ever been given?
Never chase money. Be a problem solver and money will come to you.
7. If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Ramen or Soba (any noodle variant)
8. Can you speak any other language?
Yes, Bahasa Indonesian and I speak a little Mandarin
9. What do you love doing when you’re not at work?
Eating noodles, I guess. And I love to visit places that I have never been to before, so I would say travelling.
10. Lastly, what excites you most about the future of multicultural Australia?
I always believe in “The more variety the better society” because we will be richer in knowledge. I believe that strength lies in unity not uniformity.
